11 July 2018 - The Sheffield Assay Office
Implementing the New ISO / IEC 17025:2017 - Timetables and Transition Challenges
All assessments will be undertaken to the new Reference Standard from January 2019 with the scope revised to include all laboratory activities including Testing, Calibration, and Sampling. This leaves many laboratories with a diminishing window of opportunity to put in place the changes necessary.
This one day event will take a Process Approach to the implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 within your business.
It will provide you with the opportunity to work directly with UKAS on the most recent developments of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the chance to network with experts from a variety of industries. Engaging discussions, presentations from decision makers and small group workshops will focus on key areas such as Management System Structure, Decision Rules and taking a Risk Based Approach. There will be other opportunities to cover areas such as the Role of PT, Reference Materials and Measurement Uncertainty.
This event will be of particular interest to those responsible for the implementation, operation and management of standards within their organisations.
