Longtime partners National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and Arden Photonics have worked together again on a new retractable fibre holder. The holder, specifically designed for Arden’s FGC Fibre Geometry System, promises to set new standards in the optical fibre industry.
The new tool ensures the highest level of accuracy, allowing optical fibre manufacturers to validate and produce advanced fibre products.
NPL scientist Robert Ferguson, says, “Working closely with Arden Photonics has once again demonstrated the value of technical collaboration. Our joint efforts enhance the quality and success of UK instrument manufacturers in this critical area. We remain dedicated to providing metrology support for cutting-edge communication interconnects.”
“This collaboration represents a significant advancement for both Arden and NPL,” says David Robinson, CEO of Arden Photonics, “It underscores our shared commitment to improving accuracy and setting higher standards within the optical fibre measurement industry. We continuously seek collaboration opportunities to ensure our measurement solutions deliver high accuracy and value to our customers.”
