The BMTA Asbestos Conference 2026 will take place on 19 March at 3M in Bracknell and will bring together measurement professionals, regulators, researchers and laboratory specialists to explore the future of asbestos testing, analysis, and management and how the sector must evolve to meet new challenges.
Our last asbestos conference took place in December 2018. Since then, the world has changed dramatically. The regulatory landscape is tightening, with anticipated reductions in exposure limits and heightened scrutiny of workplace safety. At the same time, AI-assisted detection and data analytics are transforming how asbestos professionals measure, interpret, and report results.
