Measurement for Business programme

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) has officially opened its M4B programme to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) focused on developing innovative sensors, instrumentation and measurement systems.

We have a stand at this year’s MACH exhibition and we’d love for you to come with us. We would like to offer our members the opportunity to use the stand to promote their capabilities, products, services and achievements.

Led by the industry trade body Make UK, the day offered a chance for UK manufacturers to open their doors and demonstrate the opportunities available across the sector.

EURAMET Technical Committee for Mass and Related Quantities (TC-M) has published a guide on the calibration of automatic weighing instruments. 

Delegates will learn to apply the accreditation standard for the certification of products, processes or services in order to provide confidence that they comply with specified requirements.

This two-day course provides delegates with an appreciation of the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020 and related UK and international guidance, and its application to accreditation for various types of inspection activity.

The NPL’s Measurement for Business (M4B) is now open to companies developing green technologies including renewable energy, alternative fuels, carbon capture, long-term energy storage, future grid, air quality measurements, emissions monitoring and carbon accounting.
