A new metrology in healthcare workshop in Huddersfield in July will bring together speakers from NPL, the University of Huddersfield and other local leading academic institutions to discuss ongoing research on metrology in health.
The Huddersfield Health Innovation Partnership project is being delivered by the University of Huddersfield and is part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). The initiative aims to build a health and wellbeing ecosystem that drives innovation across West Yorkshire.
The West Yorkshire region and the companies, universities and other research organisations within it are recognised as being at the cutting edge of research and product development in these areas. With these advances, the measurements needed and the methods for taking them are evolving fast. One constant is the requirement for this data to be high quality, repeatable and accurate.
The workshop – which takes place on 2nd July – aims to give attendees a chance to feed back on measurement challenges that will help shape the future of metrology.
