EUROLAB has published its position paper on the impact and revision of the New Legislative Framework (NLF).
In the paper, EUROLAB highlights the importance of the NLF as a key opportunity to focus on a more efficient European accreditation system to enable a sustainable quality infrastructure and strengthen the European Single Market.
EUROLAB says it’s ready to work together with EU representatives and other CABs Associations in Europe to modernise the accreditation system by introducing reforms centred on openness, harmonisation, and performance. The paper looks at openness of the cross-border accreditation, strict harmonisation of requirements, EU benchmarking of NABs and specialisation and cooperation among NABs.
