The Institute of Measurement and Control (InstMC) Early Careers Network (ECN) has launched a new online mentoring programme, designed to connect early-career professionals with experienced members across the engineering and measurement sectors.
The free-to-join scheme offers voluntary, peer-led support to help individuals develop both personally and professionally. Participants can sign up as either a mentor or mentee, depending on their stage of career and interests.
Those within 15 years of starting their career, or seeking advice on professional registration, CPD, or career progression, are encouraged to apply as mentees. The programme is also open to students, graduates and apprentices who want to expand their network and learn from others in the profession. Experienced InstMC members who are keen to share their expertise, support the next generation and develop their own mentoring skills are invited to join as mentors.
Before registering, applicants should read the ECN Mentoring Principles and InstMC ECN Mentoring Guide, which outline the structure and expectations of the programme.
