The inaugural National Manufacturing Day (NMD) will take place on Thursday 7 July 2022. The initiative aims to encourage manufacturers to open their doors to local communities in order to give people the chance to see manufacturing ‘in action’ and consider it when thinking about their future careers.
Defining the UK AI Assurance ecosystem is still work in progress in the UK. It is believed there is a role for accreditation in the world of AI Assurance, but it is hard to determine at this stage. It is envisaged that 17025, 17029 and 17065 are key components of an accredited AI Assurance framework, however until Standards emerge to support this area, it is hard to say to what extent.
