The programme aims to accelerate innovation and support business growth by providing specialised expertise and facilities at no cost to qualifying companies.
Eligibility criteria:
- UK-registered SMEs with pre-market products or services
- Within Minimal Financial Assistance allocation (less than £315,000 of government funding over a rolling three-year financial period)
- Facing measurement challenges beyond routine commercial services

- Sensors and instrumentation development
- Greater Manchester and Yorkshire region (specific postcodes apply)
- Semiconductor technology
- Green technology
- Engineering biology (EngBio) technologies
